Special Thanks to Cheryl!

Since it's our Spring Break, so I decided to stay in Chicago for extra few days. Big thanks to Cheryl for hosting
me these few days, cooked for me (she said she never cook for other people before, what an honor!), and
introduced me some good coffee place to do my works.
Love her small apartment, I ever thought of having this type of small apartment and lifestyle if I stuck in the city
to work for few years. hahahah.... Sounds like a dream!

Anyway, she has to work most of the daytime, so basically, I travel by myself, discover some new places, meet
some people that I knew, having meetings in different places. As if I adapted to this lifestyle and this place pretty
quick, never imagine how would that look like if that's my future life.

Anyway, thank you, Cheryl, for your warm hospitality and the authentic curry!!!! You are an angel!!!

My IWL family

I may be weak,
but Your Spirit strong in me
My flesh may fail,
my God, You never will

Glad to be part of this International women's leader (IWL) family, together we share, laugh, cry, sing, dance, and pray.
We support each other, encourage each other, words couldn't express how grateful I am to be part of this family.
Meet some new faces and also catch up with my good friends! How I wish we can spend few more days together.

Sabah girls~~~~

So, there was one activity that allows us to cook and team building. Super pump about that!!
Isn't we look like on the cooking show? Dressed up like professional chef.

Each group has to prepare a meal, like fancy dining...
my team!!!
Girls, we may feel lonely or weak on our individual campus, but always remember His grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in weakness.
Love you all!!!!

Thank God for putting this family/community in my life, learned and inspired by their lives!

Travel to Chicago

First-time travel with Dinah, haha... Actually not really travel, we are just heading toward Chicago together
to attend our IWL Scholarship Student Meeting. Speaking the truth, I've used to travel by myself, being alert,
speed walking, remember the road, and constantly checking things around me. So, even though just spending
one day with her travel from Charlotte to Chicago, it took me awhile to adjust the different, to slow down my
walking pace, allow her to explore and learn instead of nagging her. (I'm so bad in this~~~)

So, after we arrived Chicago, decided to go downtown with our luggage. Since she never been to Chicago
before, so we took the subway to downtown and check out the Cloud Gate. Well, it wasn't a good idea,
while we were on the subway, I was planning to use her phone to check the location, at least study the
map before we arrive, but she said we don't need to do that since she will have her phone and GPS, so I
trusted her. After we arrived, guess what~ she found out that her map wasn't updated with the location, so
we both stood in the middle of the street, wait for her phone to update for about 20-30 mins, and it was
cold and windy..... What a day..... In the end, I went ahead and ask people and found the location, went
to get Japanese food and visit Cloud Gate before head back to the airport.

Well, always a learning process.

Model UN

It was an honor to be part of this Model UN on our campus, wasn't my first time, still, it made me nervous.
Great learning experiences, great peers, and great opportunity!
For those of you have no idea what is Model UN, Model UN stands for Model United Nations,
is an educational simulation and/or academic activity in which students can learn about
diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.
They will break into a different group such as General Assembly, Security Council, Human Rights Council,
and World Health Organization and discuss with the different assigned topics.

First Friday

It's First Friday!!!
Our church started this young adult outreach ministry, similar to alpha, where you will invite friends to come over for food, some simple games, worship, watch a video then discuss.
Erin and I invited a huge group of students to come, and we even had a van came and pick us up from campus.
Lols!!!
We talk about adulting, especially focus on self-identity.
It was fun and I get to meet some of the girls and had some quality time with them!!!
Can't wait to see them next Month!!!

Small group night

Rushed back from Kuru Beach, went straight to the church for student ministry.
Luckily there wasn't much to prepare, it was small group night.
So, basically, it's a night for us to hang out individually with our own small group students, do something fun together.
We had food together and also played some games together. It was really fun and chill night!
