火锅欢送会

思琦要离开芝加哥到加州去了，很突然的一个消息令我们措手不及，结果我们就一群人一起在茶堂吃火锅欢送她。

在这里短短的几个星期，喜怒哀乐都经历过，自己仿佛成了这大家庭的一份子，这令我对芝加哥有着更不一样的情怀。

其实说到底，家并不是指外在的建筑物有多大，或是长得像家，而是相聚在一起的人一同参与了彼此人生的一部分。

这一餐吃得很沉重却又充满着欢笑，聊着大家最近感兴趣的话题，沙龙像是大哥兼牧者一样地分析我们这一群单身对于感情这一块的坚持。

不晓得从什么时候开始，大家都在聊感情这一事，或许是大部分的年轻人都是单身吧~

哈哈哈~

但，火锅吃得很撑，也很享受和大伙儿在一块的日子。

Last day in UCA

Worked in UCA as a volunteer for a short period of time, it was hard to adjust in the beginning, new environment to adapt, 

a new system to learn, new faces to recognize, new names to remember, but it was a fun experience here in Chicago. Always 

want to be an art therapist, knowing this volunteer works have nothing to do with my dream, but still, good experience to have. 

Instead of doing more analyzing students artwork, I was assigned to lead some art sessions, I would say more like an art 

activity. It is fun to witness their creativity and their faces when creating artwork. 

It is hard to imagine what will come a few years later if I really become an art therapist, how would that look like? I have no idea. 

Although this might not be the work setting I would prefer, this will definitely be part of my experience to share.

Mango ice shake with Reagan

Met Reagan at UCA (Urban Christian Academy) in Chicago, she is one of the volunteers from
Moody Bible Institute. Found out we have a common friend, Luke, whom I met during the
Chicago mission trip. Decided to go out for tea and share about life, pretty random tea time
together, especially we both have pack schedule, so we only manage to hang out for an hour.

The whole conversation surrounded with joy and laughs, it is definitely God's love and grace
bring us here. We talked about how God's faithfulness and
goodness bring us up until this
day, each step we take, he watches over us, protects us, and lead us. What a good day to
remember His awesome deeds in our lives!

Not sure if we will meet again, but I'm grateful to meet Reagan here in Chicago, get to know
more about her heart for the children and for the Lord!
