Secret Church is our version of "house church" where we meet periodically for an intense time of Bible study—lasting 6+ hours—including a time of prayer for our brothers and sisters across
the globe who are facing persecution and for those who still have not heard the gospel.
Didn't know this until I was invited by Jesse and Ms. Karen(whom I have heard for a year but never meet in person.) So,
I went with Grace, Beth, and KP. Most of the girls are from various campus ministry on our campus. And most of them
are student athletics, I met some of them before, but never know that they are Christian nor involve in campus ministry.
This started from 6pm and ended at 1:40am, spent time for intense Bible study and also prayed for a specific country,
this year, they prayed for Malaysia! How cool is that! David Platt, the pastor who is deeply devoted to Christ and His
Words, he talks about cults and Counterfeit Gospels this night. Can you Imagine, he taught the whole notebook in one
night for 4 hours, with his speed teaching, so crazy! But I learned a lot in one night, and also the passion to serve and
reach out to the nations.
There was a moment where the connection was bad, so we were forced to stop. Ms. Karen invited me to share more
about Malaysia since they are praying for Malaysia tonight, so, instead of wasting time wait for it, I started to share with
them about Malaysia and the religious tension in Malaysia. It was really touching when saw everyone pray for my country,
the broken country that I came from.
I'm so thankful for this and Ms. Karen, it was a fruitful night that burning with passion and love for God!
